Blind Lemsip Jefferson is a blues musician claiming to have been born near the dawn of the 20th century. Residing in Tauranga, New Zealand (in the region of the Wairoa River), he calls his style of music 'delta fuck yous'. After purportedly recording 9 songs in 1928, he spent an 83 year period of musical inactivity in slavery, not realising the rest of his race had been emancipated.
