Bobby Russell was an American song writer,born April 19,1940. He was born in Nashville,Tennessee. He was married for a short time to actress Vicki Lawrence, in which he wrote "The Night the Lights Went In Georgia" , became a big hit for her. His only big hit for him was the fun filled "Saturday Morning Confusion", that song went to 24 in the U.S. Country and 28 in the U.S. Rock Charts. He died at the age of 52. Read more on Last.fm.
