In the spring of 2007, the members of the indie-punk number "Hammerleaf" decided to try a different kind of music project. It would be a more sensational music experience which combined the written word with progressive pop music. "When you hear a ballad or song that has a story in it, things inevitably get left out," vocalist Kevin Whelan explained, "the idea is to write a short-story that compliments the song, or vice versa.
