Henry Roland "Bud" Hobbs was the 2nd son born to Henry Leonard Hobbs and Ella Pearl Scott. Bud was a Western Singer in late 40's to mid 1950's with a voice to remember. Bud Hobbs and his Trail Herders recorded 30 songs with MGM records. Bud record "Lousiana Swing" in 1954, on lead guitar was Buck Owens, Piano-Bill Woods, and the dual fiddles of Oscar Whittington and Jelly Sanders.
