C-jeff is a musician from Yoshkar-Ola, Russia. Classically trained in piano as a child, he started to compose music on the ZX Spectrum computer back in December 2001. In 2003, he became a member of the virtual band AY Riders. In 2006, he founded the chiptune netlabel Ubiktune with his own album Konami as the label’s first release. At this period, the high immersion into jazz and rock music (and later progressive rock and metal) strongly influenced on his approach to composition.
