Chad Gilbert (born March 9, 1981) is the band's lead guitarist. He was a singer for the popular and influential underground hardcore band Shai Hulud before joining A New Found Glory. He is also a former member and songwriter of the hardcore punk band Hazen Street. He also performed a solo on Fall Out Boy's Infinity On High. He also performed guest vocals for the band Throwdown on the album Haymaker for the song The Only Thing.
