Cheri Knight is a singer-songwriter who should be much better known than she is. A founder member in the late '80s (along with Jimmy Ryan and Mark Spencer) of the roots-rock band Blood Oranges, she fronted some of the most memorable songs on their two albums Corn River (1990) and The Crying Tree (1994).
