Chicken Bowels were a Japanese hardcore punk band hailing from Hiroshima. They played a fast and angry style of thrashy hardcore. They were a more melodic band than their contemporaries at the time, with emotion filled vocals, lead guitars and solos. The band released one 7" EP, and were featured on three compilations.
