Christer Nygård was born at Fredrikstad Hospital, Østfold, Norway. He has been playing the guitar since he was 11. In the age of 13, he formed his first band with Aleksander Kristoffersen(bass) and Aleksander Norén(drums) and they were called "The Infected". Christer Nygård was the lead singer and guitarist.
