Kekoa Tsukiyama, the lead singer of CitySide, started singing with a group of friends in the 8th grade. While in high school, he continued performing and started writing his own songs. Josiah Kekoa from the group Ten Feet was one of the first people to record his original compositions. In 2007, Kekoa officially started the band called CitySide.
