Born in Chalfont St Giles, England, in 1963, Clive made his concert debut with his first band The Mysterons in 1979. Played first solo gig in 1980 at the High Wycombe College Students Union Bar. In 1982 he teamed up with violinist Gary Williams to play acoustic gigs as duo. Released debut LP Village Tours Start Here in 1983, followed by Stretching Arms And Legs (1985), and Songs From An Untidy Bedroom (1986).
