Closet Organ are a Glasgow-based band formed by high-school friends in 2001, who formerly went under the name 'The RipOffs' before realising that it was a pretty terrible name. A rough demo which barely reflected the raw energy of their live performance, followed by a self-produced EP, caught the interest of both BBC Radio (the station's Niall-Iain showcased the band on his show) and XFM Scotland, with Jim Gellatly picking the band as his "Beatbreakers".
