Clube de Bolso (which means Pocket Club) was formed in 2007 in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil by musicians from different regions of Brazil who met at Campinas State University (UNICAMP). They play a dancing, groovy and sophisticated sound based on influences by John Scofield, Beastie Boys, Tim Maia, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Sly and Family Stone, Jamiroquai, Herbie Hancock, Mutantes and Soulive.
