Coalition Of The Illin' formed in Louisville in 2004, as two high-school buddies who wanted to turn their knack for songwriting into an avenue for monetary gain. This early incarnation of COI (as they are often known) wrote many unpolished yet hilarious songs using just their two voices and one acoustic guitar.
