Formerly known as Dr. Disco Shrimp, the Icelandic electropop band was born in New York in 2003. The first members were Thor, Holmar Filipson and the singer Unnur Andrea. With the band being split accross countries, Holmar living in New York, and Unnur and Thor in Iceland, it became difficult for the band to cooperate.
