Companhia Papagalia was formed by four very good musicians intending to record songs from the time of the Portuguese coming to Brazil. The group is formed by Eduardo Klein (viola da gamba), João Lima (tenor), Ana Luiza Lima (harpsichord), Eduardo Areias (tenor) and Fernanda (soprano). Despite of their jobs apart of music, they found available time on the weekends to record the album Ares de Vera Cruz (2000) which was made to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Brazil.
