Contrabande is a French-Danish jazz quintet - its music is between jazz and new classical music. Many pieces are based on complex contemporary writing processes, leaving a large place for free collective improvisations. Musicians : Aurelien Besnard - French soprano, alto and bass clarinets - composer Studied in Caen Conservatory in classical music and jazz. Then worked on improvised music.
