Contrapunk is an Indonesian group formed by Adji Bandi (viola, piano, lyre, vocals), Tono Suparto (bass guitar), Pungky Moektio (keyboards), Aris (lead guitar) and Jessy (drums). They called their music "bach-rock", or music blending classical influences into rock. The group started to record their first album, Putri Mohon Diri (Princess, Please Yourself), on 1976.
