Crude Oz is a pop rock band comprised of Paolo Vivas on drums, Lenin Lara on bass, Bjorn Manalo on guitars and Deo Cruz on guitars and vocals. The band was formed in 2007 when Paolo and Deo, called on Lenin, Deo's former officemate, to play bass for them. The band was initially called Bananaskyflakes. Crude Oz's first gig was in March, 2007, at a small bar called O-drive, in Makati. The band played 5 songs in front of a few people in the audience.
