Cry of Distress plays melodius heavy metal. The founders of the band are Tommi (guitar) and Paavo (drums). Harri (bass) joined in a few years later. Tuula (vocals) was found accidentally in autumn 2001. The group was completed when Jussi (guitar) joined in 2003. The band’s music is composed by Tommi and Jussi, lyrics are mostly Tuula’s handwriting, with a few exceptions. With its current composition Cry of Distress has released three demo recordings.
