Greek black metal band from Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, formed in 1992. Released a demo in 1993 titled "The Final Congregation". A bootleg of a 1992 rehearsal also exists. The song "Infernal's Forethought" was exclusively released on the "Beyond the Grave" Compilation LP in 1994 through Dark Side Records. 26 March 2014 saw the release of "Cthonium Chants from an Infamous Past", a split compiling all material by both Cthonium and Osculum Infame (which vocalist and keyboardist Odes from Absu was also part of).
