Started in 2000 by three Alabama musicians going by the simple names of "Squid," "Hank," and "Jesus Christ," it seems that Curly's Gold was originally intended as a grindcore band. However, toward the end of 2002, they apparently gave up on this, for the most part, and began focusing on electronic music.
