D'ARK~EN~CIEL was the members of L'Arc~en~Ciel switching their usual roles and playing hardcore songs. They were set to release some songs as b-sides on L'Arc~en~Ciel's single "the Fourth Avenue Cafe" but the single was cancelled due to the arrest of drummer sakura for posession of illegal drugs.
