Dadbot was a synth-rock band originally formed in 2003 in Columbia, Missouri by Mark Harrison (vocals) and Darin Seal (synth, vocals) under the name Bonk. They made three albums under this name, and played at various open-mic nights around town. As they began drawing somewhat of a fan-base, Harrison and Seal decided to invest more time and energy into the next album, and changed their name to Dadbot.
