Damien Tavis Toman was born in Tulsa, OK in 1982, but has resided in New York's Hudson Valley region since early childhood. He began writing songs while an isolated and disaffected youngster, inspired mainly by early punk artists such as the Misfits, the Germs, and the New York Dolls, and Gothic artists like Type O Negative and the Sisters of Mercy.
