Dan Mândrilă (b. 1938, Chişinău — d. 1992) was one of the most celebrated Romanian saxophone players, band leaders and music composers of the second half of the 20th century. He was a part of the famous Bucharest Jazz Quintet, along with Ştefan Berindei (sax), Marius Popp (piano), Eugen Gondi (drums) and Johnny Răducanu (bass), as well as a member of the Radio Romania's Big Band.
