Dance, Jenny was born in Gainesville, FL when Sean Kravit asked his neighbor Alex Senf for assistance recording a solo album by the name of The Husbands. The two traveled to play a show in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and were joined by Sean's cousin Kai Kravit on bass and vocals. Soon after the trio began recording electronic pop songs written by both Sean and Kai under the name Dance, Jenny.
