Dave Deporis (1976/1977 - August 2017) was a singer songwriter, guitarist, living in the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland, CA​. Deporis previously lived in Prospect Park (Brooklyn)​. His song "The Adult Song" was his big hit of that era, (2005). Deporis' laptop was stolen while he worked at a cafe in August 2017. He chased the thief and was dragged by the thief's car, leading to mortal injuries.
