The album was completed over two evenings, Feb. 4th and 5th 1993 at David Grisman's studio. Grisman, who was playing with Rice, called Jerry to join in on the session. The recordings were just made for the three and never intended for an alum. Not long after the sessions a pizza delivery boy stole Jerry Garcia's copy from his house.
