As soon as the minimal scene emerged in Europe, David was one of the first to start promoting the "clicks and cuts" full heartedly in the Netherlands, through spinning, and organizing the infamous "Berlin Underground" nights in Amsterdam, with appearences by Richie Hawtin, Zip, Magda, Ricardo Villalobos, Sammy Dee, Tom Clark and Ata.
