Day Eight is an alternative rock/electronic duo from St. Louis, Missouri with a pop/rap flare. Eric Shanburn and Buzz Matthews both grew up in Royal Oak, MI, a couple miles north of Detroit. They started creating music together as Just Another Vibe and All Saints Day in the mid to late 90’s, followed by solo releases of Buzz Mathews and projects Trip the Light Fantastic and Behold Zoe by Eric Shanburn.
