De Vogels (meaning: the birds / the dudes) were a stoner/kraut/improv octet from Rotterdam, The Netherlands that existed only for a couple of years –four or so– in the very beginning of the twentyfirst century. Let’s say 2003 up to 2006. The band members were all mystic warriors and riders of the so called ‘Drient’ (the god that gave the band their power and inspiration) and all had illustruous nicknames.
