Formed in the Fall of 2005 , Dead Commuter started out with Paul Maggard On Guitar/Vocals, Rafael Garcia On Drums, and Margaret Follmer on Bass. Culling from a number of influences, The band's first efforts sounded like a variety of different genres, at one moment melodic as Latter-era Neurosis , the next being steeped in Powerviolence.
