Decadent and Symmetrical was officially formed in 2012 in Leeds, UK by Kris Clayton from Camel of Doom. The band was formed as a reaction against the difficulty that Camel of Doom were getting in reaffirming a foothold in the scene after a long hiatus. The aim was to create music that cost nothing to make, could be distributed totally freely without financial loss to the artist and therefore be able to exist entirely without the music industry.
