Defeat the Oppressor is a two, sometimes three-piece industrial grind epic death metal band from Effingham Co, GA. They made their live debut at the 2008 Macon Holiday Metalfest although they have been playing together since summer of 2007. Influenced by such bands as axnxb, Dying Fetus, old nine inch nails, morbid angel, wcwbt, and Suffocation.
