Dels is a hip-hop pseudonym of Kieren Dickins. His eclectic influences span two-step garage (from a membership band as a teenager) and Joe Goddard (Hot Chip), his long-standing creative partner. The resulting product is a unique mishmash of squelchy bass lines, tinkering keys, syncopated drum patterns and the occasional steel pan, all juxtaposed by Dickins’ infectiously languid flow.
