Derek McTavish is an artist from the across United States, having lived in Seattle, Arizona, Connecticut, and Florida. His influences are a bit drastically unusual; he started by writing electronic, mostly percussive music, then transitioned into writing fully orchestral film scores for a number of indie and student films.
