It all started when Syze-Up heard Grandmaster Flash’s The Message having been sent mix-tapes by cousins in New York. He soon realised his love for hip-hop was in fact fused with his love for pop acts such as Blondie, Gary Numan & Kraftwek which still shows in his production today.
