Died is a math-rock band from New York, New York. Formed by bassist Alex Geisel and guitarist Caio Brentar in 2016, their first songs were written with only two guitars and no amplifiers while studying abroad in Argentina. After returning back to New York, Died recruited drummer Matt Leichenger and guitarist Ian White and began expanding on their sketches written while abroad.
