Thomas Diethelm ans Santino Famulari published two albums in the early 1980s. They combined extraordinary skill with advanced recording techniques for acoustic guitar. Their single "The Flyer" made #1 in the Dutch charts, initiated by a performance in a popular TV show (Sonja Barend's "Goed Nieuws Show"). The track was issued for the launch of a sailing ship with the same name, that won the Whitbread Round the World race. Thomas Diethelm has also formed a band which he named after himself.
