Disco Daddy is the father of old school west coast hip-hop. He started as a West-Coast DJ and party promoter in Los Angeles area in 1976-1979. Having been a DJ for those years and having subsequently built up his M.C. name, "Disco Daddy," he began to reform his calls to the audience about zodiac signs into zodiac raps during the 'breaks' in his shows (1979).
