Before being named Disco Montego they were named Kaylan and produced an album called No Commandments which was a successful rnb album. Disco Montego released their debut album on WEA We Got Love in 2001 with several tracks featuring Katie Underwood formerly of girl group Bardot including the first single "Beautiful".
