DJ Sandrinho (real name Sandro Dos Santos Lourenco), originating from the favela do Borel en Rio, started his musical career at the age of 12, following his older brother’s footsteps, DJ Sapo Pemba in the sound systems of Rio. He started deejaying regularly and playing in the community radio stations of Rio’s favelas (Borel and Prazeres).
