In 1997 four high school friends began writing songs together above a garage in Copley, Ohio -- by 1999, Dolly Trauma's first 4-song demo was in regular rotation on 88.9 V-Rock, the station that turned Cleveland metal act Mushroomhead into a local phenomenon. While most of its peers were ripping off Korn and Limp Bizkit, Dolly Trauma remained committed to melody, emotion and experimentation.
