Don Fowler's lyrics & chords

Don Fowler grew up in the small town of Waurika, Oklahoma. He was the last child of a large family of farmers in Jefferson county during the depression days. He served in the US Army during WWII in Iceland working on jeeps. He married his sweetheart, Doris Day in Sugden, OK, a town smaller than Waurika. He led his band "The Countrytimers" in gigs all over North Texas and all of Oklahoma playing in venues of all size and kind.
