Dorin Liviu Zaharia (September 25, 1944 – December 3, 1987) was one of the most interesting figures of the 1960s and '70s Romanian pop music scene. He was probably the first Romanian musician interested in mixing Romanian folklore with Indian music. He sang with the band Olympic '64, developing a sound and attitude that were in contrast to the communist regime's "commandments".
