Downside kid is an indie folk band which formed in Gatineau, Quebec. The band was founded in 2009 by singer songwriter Jeremi Pierre Caron. Multi-instrumentalist Pascal Desgagné, who mentored Caron in his musical journey since his late teens, joined the band in 2010.
