Dronning Mauds Land is a rock/pop-band formed in Oslo, Norway in 1989 by (husband and wife) Arne Berggren (drums) and Ingeborg Magerøy (vocals), both former members of The Tunicates. Berggren is also a former member of Lumbago and Beranek. The band is really a duo consisting of the mentioned couple, but numerous others have contributed to their albums. On their second album, Noe som har hendt, the famous norwegian writer Lars Saabye Christensen wrote the lyrics. Berggren is also a writer himself, releasing his debut novel in 1991.
