Duke Robillard is a blues guitarist of renown,somewhat younger than Herb Ellis who is a jazz guitarist in the same brilliance and era of Wes Montgomery and django Reinhard. Ellis was prior to the likes of Chet Atkins and played great swing guitar although his albums are more likened to early Chet Atkins. Ellis is a superb jazz guitarist and Duke Robillard while not exactly in the same class as Ellis has quite the notoriety in among the blues fraternity.
