Earl & Raine was formed outside of Philadelphia early in 2011 when songwriter Nathan Allebach officially joined Brittney Pendrick in an indie/folk duo. After playing local shows for a few months with all different members and setups, in August the two decided it was time to take the music seriously and head into the studio.
